ABOUT TRICIA

TRICIA HUNTLEY founded Huntley & Co. in 2006 following a decade designing residences and hotels for Washington, DC firms.  Prior to that, she received a master’s degree with honors in interior design from George Washington University and an undergraduate degree in photography and art history. Tricia’s classical training, Midwestern roots, and fashion-forward sensibility contribute to an eclectic aesthetic that attract clients and insiders alike. That paired with a thoughtful and engaging approach have garnered her projects throughout the U.S. and Europe, features online and in print, and numerous awards.

In addition to her interiors projects, Ms. Huntley has licensed designs available through Urban Electric Co. and Ironware International, and an online shop called GREATHOUSE where she sells her collection of vintage and antique finds from her career and travels. Tricia’s ongoing inspirations, ideas, and behind-the-scenes experiences can be found on Instagram, TikTok, and her blog, Luxe & Lucid. When not engaging in all things Huntley & Co., she can be found perusing modern art for her collection, laughing at a Tom Segura comedy bit, or playing with her rescue dog, Ursi, at a local park … because just like design, life is better when it’s eclectic.

I grew up as the only girl in a household with three rambunctious boys. Much to my dismay, my room and my belongings often became fair game for their shenanigans. Because of this, ‘environment’ became very important to me at an early age and sparked an interest in interior design. While in grammar school, I studied issues of Architectural Digest, drew floorplans, and participated in two overhauls of my bedroom. I styled vignettes on my dresser, stacked my magazines just so, and was actually voted ‘most likely to become a designer’ at my 8th grade commencement. It was no surprise to anyone when I pursued a career in interior design after college.
